The Challenge

Hona brought me on mid-stride — their previous developer was out and they needed someone who could hit the ground running. With a marketing push already in motion, the immediate priority was keeping up: new landing pages for paid ad campaigns, tracking implementation, and ongoing Webflow support for a team moving fast. As the engagement deepened, so did the scope. When their in-house designer departed, I stepped into the creative lead role entirely. Now, with Hona pivoting to lead with their new AI Care Coordinator product, I'm designing and building the pages that speak directly to personal injury attorneys — hitting their pain points, presenting the product as the solution, and driving them to convert.

The Process

Research & Discovery

Before touching Figma, I get deep into the product — reviewing demo calls, learning the pain points PI attorneys face, and understanding how Hona solves them.

Wireframes & Feedback

With a clear picture of the audience, I build wireframes and bring the Hona team in early. Alignment at this stage means no surprises later and a faster path to high-fidelity.

High-Fidelity Design

Wireframes approved, I move into full visual design in Figma — crafting layouts built to convert, with every section mapped to a specific attorney pain point.

Build in Webflow

With designs finalized, I develop the pages in Webflow — responsive, polished, and ready to perform whether it's a paid ad landing page or a core product page.

CRO Design

Landing pages for Hona's paid ad campaigns were built with one goal — getting PI attorneys to book a demo. That meant leading with the right hook, structuring content around real objections, and guiding visitors through a clear path from curiosity to conversion.

Tracking & Integrations

Beyond the design, I wired up the full marketing stack — Meta pixel custom events, Google Tag Manager, and HubSpot tracking across pages. Clean data means Hona's team can see exactly what's working and make smarter decisions on where to spend their ad budget.

AI Care Coordinator

With Hona shifting focus to their new AI product, I stepped in as design lead to build the pages. The goal was to speak directly to personal injury attorneys — their workflow, their frustrations, and why AI-powered client care changes the game for their firm.

The Impact

Hona came in with real momentum — $11.7M raised across a seed round backed by Y Combinator and a Series A led by Costanoa Ventures, already established as a go-to client communication platform for personal injury firms nationwide. Since our engagement began, they've launched Voice AI, a 24/7 AI-powered call assistant, and are now moving aggressively into AI-driven client care with the Care Coordinator. The pages we're building together are the front door to that next chapter.
